Recuperatievermogen

Het IL6 gen produceert een stof genaamd interleukine-6. Het komt vrij in de spieren als reactie op lichaamsbeweging. Het bevordert de regeneratie van vezels en reguleert hoe snel spieren herstellen na het sporten. Er wordt ook gedacht dat het hebben van een normale IL6-genfunctie bijdraagt aan betere prestaties in de krachtsport.
